Nurturing Stronger Life Connections

We live in a world that is designed for connections. We’re connected to our parents for nurturing, raising, support, and early life development; we’re connected to teachers for knowledge to better understand how the world’s systems work, so we can become fully functional citizens; we’re connected to our spiritual leaders for enlightenment and knowing how to tap into a higher way of living etc.

And with all of these wonderful connections, we’re given the opportunity to construct wonderful relationships with many people who can impart wisdom, knowledge, and strength for our journey called life.

Those who understand the power of good relationships, work constantly to foster positive ones that can lead to much success in every area of life; unfortunately, those who are ignorant about this awesome life connection, never pay much attention to them and end up with negative connections that often turn their lives into “natural disasters”.

If you want to cultivate positive relationships with others that are mutually beneficial, then it is important that you do that which help each connection grow stronger. Having a positive relationship takes effort, but here are a few ideas to get you started. I’m sure other will definitely enjoy the benefits and follow your lead.

Here are a few important techniques you can use to nurture stronger life connections:

1. Give 100%. First and foremost, if you want to build a relationship that’s positive, supportive, and one that last, you need to give 100% of yourself. This is one of the most important things for success, not only in your relationships, but life in general.

* There’s no “50/50″ when it comes to giving in a relationship. You’ve got to give freely of yourself if it’s going to work. It’s almost impossible to receive from another individual if you don’t give in return.

* Remember the golden rule. When you fully give of yourself, the other person will see the effort you’re making and soon begin to reciprocate with the same type of behavior.

2. Show First. An ancient wisdom manuscript says that “he who will have friends and attract friends, must first show himself to be friendly“. It’s easy to say “I’m not doing this because I’m waiting on them to do that“, when many times you can get the ball rolling if you would first show that a connection to you is indeed beneficial to the other party, by what you bring to the table.

* The expression “actions speak louder than words,” is definitely true when it comes to any relationship. Do you remember the golden rule which says “do unto others as you’d like them to do unto you”? Well, even in our advance technological age, that rule still carries much golden wisdom that can be used as guiding lights on our paths.

* Sometimes a very simple thing that you can do is to give generous compliments to people because of something they have done, and really mean what you say. This opens the door for them to also show you goodwill in return.

If your goal is to create a stronger connection with others, take the time to think about what it is you’d like from them, then simply give those same things those you are connected to, and you’ll almost always find that they reciprocate in like manner.

Following these simple steps will have a positive impact on any relationship. Once you begin taking care of your relationship and making a conscious effort to improve it, you’ll see a stronger, more positive connections flourishing before your eyes.
